Easter Bonnet and Raffle 2006

  
     
  This years event took place on Sunday 9th April and was again well supported with various designs of bonnets on display. After a shortened training session bonnets were donned, then Ann had to choose the winners which was not easy with so many very good bonnets to choose from.

 It was so close this year we had joint winners.

 


followed by second and third place.

This was followed by an egg and spoon race with the contestants lining up and then they were off.

After the fun of the egg and spoon race and with hardly a chance to get their breath back the dogs and handlers were lining up for a sack race.

To round the morning off the grand Easter raffle was drawn, yet another monster raffle which raised £123. Thanks to all who donated prizes, bought tickets and a special thank you to Carole for organising it.
